Where To Catch Fish

There are as many ways to catch fish in the Sarasota Area as there are anglers. Everyone has their own special way of targeting fish. What we intend to accomplish here is a site that is dedicated to the instruction on How To, Where To, When To and Why (Because They Taste So Good)

Generally, the fish in this area will be hanging out in three main areas of conditions. Fish love structure and shade! Under docks, way deep in the mangroves, in the grass flats, in the passes where the water moves and is a bit deeper, on the beaches, swimming freely in the Gulf or on the Artificial Reefs, which Sarasota is so well known for.

THE KEY TO CATCHING FISH IS:

#1 Don’t Stay Anywhere Too Long, Keep Moving

#2 Nice Fresh Bait if Alive or Cut Bait AND Keep Those Lures Moving, SLOWLY

#3 Relax, the fish know if you are stressed, you’ll be reeling in all the time, messing with your bait, etc.
