August Heat & The Snapper Are Easy!

I tell you whut! The Mangrove Snapper are still strong in Sarasota Bay. Anglers have been catching an assortment of Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Pompano, Black Sea Bass and a hand full of other species like Speckled Trout, Snook and Redfish. The WhiteBait has been plentiful BUT I prefer shrimp, and a half a shrimp has been doin’ it well. The whole shrimp may be too big for Mangrove Snapper, they seem to like “The Ultimate Bite” , that’s where I put a half a shrimp on a hook and just cover the barb, then, WATCH OUT! YEYEYEYE! Snapper Attack!
